Note from Dave: "Please note that this formula is now labeled "For Intermittent Feeding Only." Let me explain why. Salmon is very high in vitamin D. There are about 7,000 units of vitamin D in a single can of salmon entree. According to AFFCO, a medium size dog should not have more than 3,000 units of vitamin D per day. So, you should not feed more than a third of a can of salmon entree per day if you have a medium size dog. We would advise you to use the food as a topper only so the dog doesn't get too much vitamin D."
